“Helping you to create a joyous pregnancy,

a comfortable birth, and a loving family”

  Healthy Pregnancy

Peaceful Baby’s Healthy Pregnancy course is designed for women and their partners who are either in the early part of pregnancy or contemplating becoming pregnant.

While numerous studies have shown that many of the complications of pregnancy can be avoided by starting parental care early, we know that many care providers advise that the first appointment be made for the end of the first trimester.  A newly pregnant woman may have little access to information about dealing with the changes and challenges of pregnancy such as morning sickness or other discomforts.  Even when her care begins, she may find that there is little time spent on nutrition and complementary therapies that can help a woman feel her best throughout her pregnancy.  Healthy Pregnancy covers all of that and more.

  • Healthful eating for two, including food safety, getting enough essential nutrients and learning how to make sure the supplements you are using are effective.
  • Staying active: safe levels  and types of activity for various stages of pregnancy
  • Dealing with common discomforts: nausea, fatigue, aches and pains
  • Learning to manage stress for your baby’s sake
  • The benefits of body work such as chiropractic, massage therapy, and acupuncture
  • Preventing complications such as prematurity, high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia
  • Planning for the birth you want for your baby: choosing a care provider and birth facility, finding childbirth classes that will help you have the best possible birth, researching and writing your birth plan, making sure your team will respect your wishes.

Whether or not this is your first baby, you will enjoy learning about pregnancy from a new perspective and will come away with both knowledge and confidence.

Peaceful Baby Birthing Consultants Healthy Pregnancy course is taught in two sessions by Kathie Dolce, MS,  HBCE, and Jessica Thompson, DC , OTR
